Anya V. Henderson

Born and raised in Russia in a family of doctors and teachers, she received her B.A. and M.A. in jurisprudence with a minor in translation in the sphere of professional communication from Volgograd Academy for Public Administration in 2007. Upon graduation, she worked as a judicial assistant and taught English as a second language at a foreign language school before moving to the U.S. in 2009. In 2014, Anya graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School magna cum laude and became a member of the Michigan State Bar and Calhoun County Bar. Throughout law school, Anya worked at a local small law firm as a legal assistant, where she obtained over four years of legal experience.
In her practice, Anya focuses primarily in the area of family law and some probate matters (guardianships, conservatorships), as well as immigration.
