Jason ter Avest’s practice focuses on probate and estate planning, as well as municipal law. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2013, where he also received a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution as well as membership in the Phi Delta Phi international legal honor society and a CALI Award in Federal Estate and Gift Tax. In addition to his legal degree, Jason has an undergraduate degree in Finance and Commercial Law from Western Michigan University, where he was named the Presidential Scholar for Finance and Commercial Law in 2009.
